Dr. Srekjko Rajovski, PhD

Dr. Srekjko Rajovski is a highly accomplished molecular biologist and laboratory specialist with extensive experience in clinical diagnostics, molecular testing, and laboratory operations. He currently serves as Head Scientist at Sanctus Life Sciences. In this role, he contributes to the development, validation, and quality assurance of tests across a broad range of molecular platforms.

Before joining Sanctus Life Sciences, Dr. Rajovski served as Laboratory Business and Development Manager at Acibadem Sistina, one of Europe’s premier hospital laboratories, where he oversaw strategic operations spanning Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genetics, and Transfusion services. He also led the Molecular Diagnostics Department, implementing and scaling PCR-based testing for infectious diseases, hereditary disorders, and microbiome analysis.

In the U.S., Dr. Rajovski held a leadership role at UsMedLab/MMM Diagnostics Laboratory in Illinois, where he directed respiratory and STI testing initiatives, introduced new test panels, and improved laboratory workflow efficiency during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dr. Rajovski holds a PhD in Molecular Biology of Eukaryotes from the University of Belgrade, along with a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology and Physiology and a Bachelor’s in Biochemistry and Physiology. His expertise encompasses DNA and RNA extraction, PCR and qRT-PCR platforms, and advanced diagnostic instrumentation from leading global manufacturers.

A dedicated volunteer for over a decade, Dr. Rajovski has supported humanitarian efforts through community and diaspora organisations. He is widely respected for his scientific rigour, team leadership, and unwavering commitment to advancing the future of molecular diagnostics.
